Jumping Doe
Sit comfortably
Notice the points where your body is supported
Notice your breathing, perhaps take a conscious sigh out
Make the video full screen and tune in, without distractions
Notice the sounds you can hear, the colours and shapes of the vegetation in the fore and background, the movements of the doe…her fur, her form, (etc.)
Allow yourself to wonder, see if any insights occur.
Sky Gazing
The sky is always there, always changing, and always wild. It is untameable and everpresent even in places where all other traces of the natural world have been eliminated. By looking at the sky, you can experience the subtlety and magnificence of the nature.
Sit or stand so that you can see the sky. This can be done through a window; in some ways, having a narrower view of the sky can help you to tune in to its subtleties. Allow whatever constrains your view to be a ‘frame’ for the sky. Set a timer if you like.
Watch the sky. Notice colours, movements, patterns, textures.
Tree Connection
Find a tree.
Lean against the tree in whichever way feels most comfortable to you. You could be facing the tree, embracing it, or leaning with your back to it, letting it support you.
Notice the points where your body touches the tree.
Notice if you can smell the tree.
Do any qualities of this tree stand out to you as meaningful? (e.g. sturdiness, groundedness, beauty)
Spend some time noticing the tree and noticing your breathing.
